Photo-assignments have taken him to some interesting and remote places around the world, including a 2 decade specialisation shooting Industrial Subsea Inspection Photography for the Offshore Oil+Gas Industry as UK HSE certified deep-sea diver until retiring from diving.

Update 2026 “Smear Campaign” debunked

These days, Richard now has a limited capability for work related activity and can only work in-studio on a project basis, in “stops and starts” of few hours work, then few hours rest, due to being under pain-management for a degenerative condition of the cervical-spine!  

Happy to share his professional photography industry experience, knowledge and expertise in studio-flash lighting with anyone creative whom is wishing and willing to learn any of the creative lighting skills and techniques that he has developed over the past four decades! 

All the work produced and displayed on this site since 2009 has been created/shot whilst Richard was under the influence of prescription opioids, so he is effectively “a high-functioning-opiate addict”. Recently, Richard was requested by the Police to undergo a “Mental-Health Assessment” check and the clinical result was effectively he is “not nuts” just highly contumacious, perhaps due to sporting an outlier IQ. 

Despite the “hundreds and hundreds” of “Vexatious Police Complaints” filed against him here in the United Kingdom - he is not actually the “Demonic Monster” that he has been maliciously reported to be! Spent the past three years here in the North of England, effectively being targeted for his “Occultist faith” currently, he is in the process of “selling-up” and joining “The Exodus” from the United Kingdom!

Richard has also been studying over the past three years, he plans to finish his P.h.D Psychology dissertation in a warmer Med-climate!
